Federal Elections in Australia

Australia had an election for our Federal Government on Saturday - and I am extremely pleased to tell you that the right wing Bush loving govenrment of the past 11 years (run by the so-called 'Liberal' Party of Australia) lost the election.
The Labor Party has won. FANTASTIC!!!!!
Admittedly it is a very cautious Labor Party, much in the style of Blair in the UK - but it's a vast improvement on what we've had for the last 11 years.
