My stories evolve around people struggling with sexual identity issues.
They are of a gay and bi-sexual theme - involving same sex couples.

These are not "adult" stories, but stories about adults.

WILDE OATS ISSUE 2

Wilde Oats

August 2009

The new issue of WILDE OATS is out.

This issue I have a story in it, which I also illustrated, called JITTERBUG.  This is a story I started several years ago but worked on to finish for this issue.  I have to thank the Wilde Oats editor for his insistence on continuing to edit it even when I kept arguning with him.  :-)

The story is about a very shy and reserved young man who has lived quite a sheltered life, sharing a flat with his sister.  But his sister decides it is time to move on, so Nick now has to face adult life alone.  He is especially challenged when he takes on a new flat mate who looks like this:

Jittterbug

Here is an excerpt from JITTERBUG:

I knocked on his door. No answer. I knocked a little louder. Still nothing. I eased open the door. I would just peek inside to see if perhaps he was asleep too. The light from the hallway showed me inside his room. I saw the messy, opened-drawer look of someone who had hastily changed his clothes. His blue striped shirt, the one I remembered clearly he had worn in the morning, lay discarded on the bed. His trousers were in a heap on the floor, just above his work shoes. His wardrobe door was open.

He had gone out. He had come in while I slept, changed his clothes, and left again, without me. At least he had shown the decency not to switch on the TV while I slept. Which meant he knew I was there. Which meant he knew he was going out without me.

Also in the zine is a story from M.A.Naess, THE BAR, which I illustrated.  This is a fun romantic story well worth reading.  Don't be fooled by the pic; it looks like a straight story, but I assure you it isn't.

Here's an excerpt from M.A.Naess's THE BAR:

But from that first evening in some strange way my peace of mind was shattered and I was damned if I could work out why. I mean, I didn’t fancy him, after all I am straight and I’ve got a few ex-girlfriends who can prove it. But I found myself watching him even when I thought I wasn’t watching him, if you know what I mean. At first it was because I had to check what he was doing, make sure he got the right spirits when he reached that long arm of his up to send a shot into a glass or that he keyed the right price for the drinks into the register. But after a while it was kind of addictive to watch him move, the way he twirled and jived to his own internal music as he served the customers and chatted. It got so bad I was even dreaming about him – strange, shadowy dreams that I couldn’t quite remember when I woke up, all hot and sweaty. It was getting to me, I can tell you.

GAY FLASH FICTION

Gay Flash Fiction

July 2009

A new issue of Gay Flash Fiction has been launched.
For this issue we invited writers to contribute a story on a theme.
THE PIZZA DELIVERY BOY.

Many of those familiar, quick fix, erotic stories –  most often used to add spark to a cold and lonely night or relieve the tedium of a boring afternoon, whilst holding the book in one hand (usually the left) to leave the other free to pursue whatever activity the story may inspire –  feature the entrance of an eager but unsuspecting young lad delivering pizzas to the home of a man as lonely and at loose ends as the reader. In payment for the pizza, the boy comes away from the encounter richer, both in tips and in experience.

Gay Flash Fiction decided to feature the same innocent boy,
but with stories that cover the wide range of situations he could find himself in, rather than only those sexually titillating stories used to warm cold nights.

We have gathered romance stories, horror stories, fantasy stories; and mixed in a touch of hard edged realism.
Oh, and we have kept a dash of erotica on the pizza as well.

There are many enjoyable stories in there, including one of my own,
PIZZA SUPREME.

PS:  I am having formatting troubles on my site, as you can see.  I'm am working on them and hopefully will sort it.
